Veterans Day began in 1919 as Armistice Day to honor the soldiers who served in World War I. Since then, we have had many more veterans added to the ranks. In our most recent wars, our veterans have not been drafted, but have been made up of a much smaller group of volunteers. This group represents less than 1% of the population, meaning most of us have been completely untouched by the wars our country has been engaged in.
Petaluma Pie Company thanks all veterans for their service. This Veterans Day, November 11th, as well as Saturday and Sunday we will provide a 20% discount to all veterans. It is the least we can do.
