It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.
It may be Presidents Day Weekend, but today is the birthday of former slave, orator, abolitionist and statesman, Frederick Douglass. It was due to his birthday and Abraham Lincoln’s that a week in February was originally named ”Negro History Week” by historian Carter G. Woodson. This was later expanded to Black History Month, also called African American History Month. Of course this history should last all year. It is part of American History.
Sorry, we have no pie fun facts regarding Frederick Douglass.
