Don’t Look Now

There will be an eclipse Sunday evening (this evening) that we can watch here in the Bay Area. From 5:16 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. peaking at 6:33 p.m. with 84% of the sun covered by the moon. This annular solar eclipse will have a “ring of fire” around it.

Like all things, eclipses are better with pie. You can pretend there is a pie in the sky blotting out the sun.

But DON”T LOOK DIRECTLY AT IT. Here are some tips for safely viewing an eclipse.
