No Power = No Pie

Guy laying the hose to pump out the liquid, so PG&E can fix the transformer so you can have pie.

Early Friday evening, the power went out. Apparently a transformer under American Alley failed (exploded? burned out? not sure). The PG&E crew that responded to the situation said they had to wait for the area beneath the manholes to be pumped out. It was full of water and some kind of oil. By 9pm the pump crew had arrived with two tanker trucks to take away the liquid from beneath the street. 49 customers on Kentucky Street and Petaluma Blvd. were affected. According to the outage map, power should be on in the morning. At least that is what it said earlier. Just checked again and now it is 2 outages affecting 3851 customers with no estimated time of restoration.

Long story short. Power went out, might be up in the morning. We will not be open as usual at 10. We will keep you posted.

Update: At 11 AM the power is still not on with no estimated time of restoration. Sadly, we will not be able to open this Saturday. Hoping the dry ice holds up.
