Brings Asparagus! Did we mention that we have asparagus? Before there was even a plan for a pie shop, we dug two long trenches, filled them with rich compost and asparagus crowns. We weeded and tended them, adding more compost every year and now, in year four of these asparagus beds, we can finally harvest freely. This warm weather and spring rain are really making them grow. They seem to shoot up 6 inches a day!
