Father wants pies, not ties!

father wants to eat pieThat’s right, everybody, Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday June 18th! Who needs another tie? Not Father, he wants pie! Place your order to make sure you get the pie he wants or come in and see what we have! We are open from 9am to 7pm on Sunday, so you can bring him in for lunch and dessert.

Mother Wants Pie!

Get Mom a Petaluma Pie for Mother's DayHey Everybody, did you know it is going to be Mother’s Day this Sunday! If Mother is tired of flowers, try pie! In order to ensure that you can get the pie she wants, we encourage you to order ahead online, in the shop or on the phone at 707-7mmm-PIE. We have so many great new fruits that Mom is sure to love, including cherries, strawberries and rhubarb, triple berry, apricots and raspberries. Of course, there are the classic cream pie favorites like Lemon Meringue, Chocolate Cream and Banana Cream. If you want to take Mom out for a nice meal or snack, just drop on in! We will be open from 9 to 7. If you want to reserve a chicken pot pie or whatever it is she wants, call ahead as we might run out.

Butter! Eggs! Antiques! Pie! Action!

butter and eggs for pieNothing says “Petaluma” like Butter and Egg Days! Like we say every year, we are proud to use butter AND eggs from right here in Petaluma (unlike a certain other business that uses eggs from Iowa and says “Lovin’ is Local”).  This is a great weekend to ride your bike or walk downtown as many streets will be closed and parking will be tight. Fortunately, many of our pies are easy to eat while strolling through our quaint little town. The Butter and Egg festival and parade are on Saturday. The parade starts at noon and is right outside our door.

The Antique Faire is on Sunday from 8am to 4pm just up the stairs from our shop on Kentucky St. We will likely be cleaned out on Saturday, so you can be sure all the pies will be extra fresh on Sunday (no antique pies, folks) for your enjoyment).

Hey, check out these cool Lemon Meringue Cookies! The meringue is crunchy and the lemon “yolk” is sweet and tart, and what do you know? They are gluten free-ish (we are not a gluten free facility).

Love and Presidents

We wuv our presidents and you, too!Hey Everyobody, it’s Valentine’s Day Weekend AND Presidents Day Weekend all in one! We all know there is nothing more romantic than pie, chocolate and a three day weekend. Today, Friday, we are continuing our celebration of National Pie Month with Joy of Almond Pie, a gluten free (we are not a gluten free facility) coconut crusted chocolate pie with whole almonds inside. On Saturday, turn up the Valentine’s Day heat with Chocolate Lava Pie, oooohhhh….chocolate lava…. On Sunday, your Fun Day, take a tropical vacation with a Banana Coconut Cream Pie. And on Monday, we French up Apple Pie with Calvados Apple Pie! So many pies, so little time! The weather is lovely and spring is in the air (even though it is supposed to be winter). Come on down, wander around, eat some pie! It’s very romantic.

Superbowl Sunday

hand pies are the perfect finger food

If you are watching to Superbowl today, you probably need things to eat. Did you ever notice how our hand pies are kind of football shaped? If you are coming to load up on pies (sweet or savory) you might want to call a couple of hours ahead so we can have them ready for you. 707-766-6743 (7mmm-pie)

If you would prefer a bowl of soup to the Superbowl, we have you covered as well. We made our 7 C’s soup, “Creamy California Cauliflower Corn Cheddar Cheese Chowder” for you today! Once the game starts, you can enjoy your soup and pie in the relative quiet of our shop where you cannot watch it on TV.

Petaluma’s Harvest Days

Petaluma Harvest Days October 24-26th 2014Hey Everybody! This weekend is Petaluma’s Harvest Days and there is stuff happening all over town from October 24th through the 26th. Of course, you can celebrate every day with pie at our shop, but on Saturday October 25th from noon to 3 (or until we run out), we are having our third annual Pumpkin vs. Sweet Potato blind taste test and Guess the Weight of the Pie contest, where you just might win yourself a pie! So come on down!

Things will be great when you’re downtown, everything’s waiting for you!

If you are west of here, we are doing the second to the last Occidental Farmers Market on Friday from 4 til dusk.
