It’s Restaurant Week!

Hey Everybody, it’s the 6th Annual Sonoma County Restaurant Week. Restaurant week is a great way to try out new restaurants or get a deal at a restaurant you already love. It runs from Monday March 9th through Sunday March 15th.

We will be offering a $10 lunch special and a $19 dinner special. If you are coming and have your heart set on one particular pie, it is best to call ahead to reserve it. If we don’t already have it baked, it can take 45 min to 90 min to bake it for you, depending on the pie. 707-766-6743 or 707-7mmm-PIE. Of course, you don’t have to order the special menu, you can just come in and see what we have.
We are open from 9-8 Monday -Thursday, 9-9 Friday – Saturday and 9-7 on Sunday.
Lunch Menu $10

Your choice of savory hand pie, choice of sweet mini pie and a cup of coffee or tea.
Our Restaurant Week lunch menu will be available all day and evening.

 Dinner Menu $19
Shepherd’s Pie, organic side salad or soup, choice of mini pie and coffee or tea.

Meat version: Stout braised grass fed organic steak, carrots and onions under a bed of creamy mashed potatoes.

Vegan version: Stout braised assorted mushrooms, including Royal Trumpet, Shiitake, Oyster and Black Trumpet carrots and onions under a bed of creamy vegan mashed potatoes.

Our dinner menu is available all day but supplies of Shepherd’s Pies are limited.

Friday is Pie Day December 12

Hey Everybody, it is Friday! In case you didn’t notice, we closed Thursday for the big storm but we are up and running today with all kinds of rainy weather treats for you! In addition to our usual assortment of hot savory pies, we have potato leek soup (vegan and wheat free, sour cream available), hot coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate!

This Saturday we are having another Holiday Pie Tasting. From noon to 3 (or until we run out) come and try a sample of our Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie!

RAIN!

If you haven’t noticed yet, it is raining a lot. We are so happy our local farms will finally get some much needed water. As you all know we will be needing many more days and nights like this in order to get out of the drought. But while we celebrate the rain, we understand that you might want to stay inside where it is warm and cozy. But you know what else is warm and cozy? PIE! We have a great selection of hot savory pies for you to eat. We also made you some nice hot vegetarian soup, we have hot chocolate, hot tea, hot coffee and hot mulled apple cider! So come on down and warm yourself up at Petaluma Pie!

Taste of Petaluma This Saturday

Hey Everybody, It’s the 9th Annual Taste of Petaluma this Saturday Aug. 23, 2014, 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This year we are once again paired with Petaluma Hills Brewery and offering a taste of our Jamaican Beef Patty, a curried meat pie made with grass fed beef.

Here is a special discount offer on tickets to sample the treats of over 60 of Petaluma’s finest chefs, food purveyors, wineries and breweries.

In other pie news, you probably have only the rest of this week to catch our
Gravenstein Apple Pie, as the season is ending quickly this year and we will be switching to Red Romes shortly. We just picked our first asian pears, so expect to see yet another taste of autumn later this week. Many of our summer fruit pies are still going strong, so even though some folks are starting school already, you can still taste summer.

It’s heating up

Over the next few days it will be unseasonably hot for our town for this time of year. While we will have plenty of hot savory pies and cold salad, we also have nice cold ones, like chocolate cream, banana cream and more. Or if you are feeling fruity, try an Apricot, Apple or Strawberry Rhubarb pie topped with some ice cold Straus organic vanilla ice cream. Just thirsty? We’ve got cold soda , house made iced teas, cold brewed iced coffee and our famous Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade is back!

You can enjoy all this and more sitting outside in the shade in Helen Putnam Plaza!

Looks Like Rain

Thankfully we have been getting more rain and it looks like we will have more coming this week! If you find it to be chilly and dreary, warm up with pie and soup, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and more!

Sonoma County Restaurant Week

Hey Everybody! It’s Sonoma County Restaurant Week  March 10 – 16 and restaurants all over the county are offering prix fixe meals so you can try something new (or something you already like. We are participating in Restaurant Week for the third year and this year, there is a lunch deal as well as a dinner one:

$10 Lunch Menu

Your choice of savory pot pie with organic side salad. $10 

$19 Dinner Menu

Dinner for one: Pot pie with organic side salad and mini dessert pie with tea or coffee.

OR

Dinner for two: Two savory hand pies, two organic side salad, and one mini dessert pie to share.

 

 

When it rains it pours!

Thankfully it is still raining. “They” say we could get 8 inches of rain this weekend and more is coming this week! We hope you are safe out there on the roads and not getting flash flooded. If you need to warm up, come in for some hot savory pies and minestrone soup and maybe a hot chocolate or coffee or tea and watch the rain come down in Helen Putnam Plaza.

Box Lunch

Hey Everybody! Do you have a group of folks who all need to eat lunch? Are you having a lunch meeting or party? Can you plan a day ahead? If so, check out our new Box Lunch service. You can choose from a selection of savory hand pies, add soup or salad and a cookie or order some sweet pies for dessert. Tasty beverages are also available. You can order for pick up in the shop or we will deliver anywhere in Petaluma (Mon-Fri 11-2. $50 order minimum required and $15 delivery fee. Delivery fee is waived for orders over $100).

Of course, if you are just hungry for lunch, stop on in. We are open 7 days a week with savory pies, soup and salad for you.

What Kind Of Pie Does Father Want?

Hey Everybody! Father’s Day is coming right up this Sunday, and Father wants pie, not a tie, but what kind of pie does he want? If you can figure it out, come in or give us a call and place your order. Right now, Father can have his choice of so many kinds of pie including:
Apple, Apricot, Banana Cream, Boysenberry, Butterscotch Cream, Cherry, Chocolate Cream, Loganberry, Nectarine Blackberry, Peach, Strawberry Rhubarb, Triple Berry and more. He can even have Pecan (but it must be ordered, we don’t make that all the time with all this fruit around).
